I know a girl who has been (still is?) in an emotional rollercoaster the past few days. Her heart has been heavy and it’s like she’s everyone’s enemy.
Everyone believes she’s the villain in the story. Although her only fault is that she fell in love and refuses to give it up although her family is against the guy.
When she makes a “wrong” move or decision, her guy is usually blamed. Others are quick to judge the guy because he has baggage and has a bad boy image.
But that bad boy is the one wiping the girl’s tears which were caused by the people who’s supposed to love her unconditionally.
He’s the one comforting her and assuring her that everything will be fine.
He’s the one waking her up with a kiss and a cup of coffee, when she’s having episodes.
He’s the one holding her at night, keeping her safe from more hurtful words.
And the one urging her to keep the faith and be more understanding of her family.
To this girl I know, who remains misunderstood and judged for loving what everyone perceives as the wrong guy, I say stay strong. Believe in love and never let others dictate what is wrong or right for you. Live the moment and enjoy what makes you happy.
